Outlook for MAC - hide messages not in current folder in conversation view
In legacy outlook, an email conversation would only contain messages that are in the current folder. The new Outlook shows messages from all folders in the conversation.
While there is the option exclude Sent items, it would be very helpful to have an option that only showed messages in the current folder in the conversation.
I often have long conversations with a lot of replies that I move replies to a different folder once they are no longer pertinent to the conversation. With the new Outlook all of those messages are still in the conversation, which makes it difficult to easily see what still needs to be addressed.

When Conversations are enabled in Outlook for Mac, moving threads changes message timestamps to the move time instead of keeping the original date. This affects sorting and accurate archiving.
Problem:
When using Outlook for Mac with Conversations enabled, moving a conversation to another folder causes the timestamp of the messages to be overwritten or updated to the time of the move, instead of preserving the original sent/received date.
Expected behavior:
Moved messages should retain their original timestamps in all views, regardless of whether Conversations are enabled or not.
Observed behavior:
With Conversations off, individual messages move correctly and preserve timestamps.
With Conversations on, moving the entire thread causes Outlook to re-date the messages, affecting sorting and chronological order.
Platform:
Outlook for Mac (New UI)
Account types affected: Microsoft 365 / Exchange (possibly IMAP as well)
Impact:
This affects archiving, searching, and organizing emails by date, especially for users who rely on accurate chronological records.
Request:
Please address this inconsistency so that Outlook for Mac preserves original timestamps when filing/moving emails, regardless of Conversation view status.

Sorting emails - "Move" option should include folders in which other emails in the conversation are already stored
When sorting emails, one can Right-Click, and choose "Move", which then displays the most recent folders to which the user has moved emails. Very often, the email I am moving is part of a conversation of several emails, and those emails have already been moved to a folder.
I request that when you seek to move an email, in additio to the most recent folders, the list should include folders which already contain emails in the same conversation. This would be a great QOL improvement for those of us sorting hundreds of emails a day into many dozens of folders.
Please note that this is similar to but not the same as the "Always Move Messages in this Conversation . . . " as I want to be able to read emails in the Inbox, and then move them.

"Always move message in this conversation" feature
This was a very useful feature for organizing mailboxes that has seemed to disappear with the new update and has impacted my work day.

Option to sort the conversations in reading pane by latest on bottom.
On Windows once conversation grouping enabled the emails under conversation were sorted in descending order (the oldest one was first and the most recent email was last under conversation) however on Mac there is reverse order meaning that the most recent email under conversation appears as first one which is causing a problem once going through emails as I read from up downwards and upon reading an email and deleting it the entire conversation moves downwards in my Inbox depending on the time/date of the next most recent message received within that conversation.
Please add the feature to change the order of emails to ascending but only in conversations while I still want to retain descending order of all emails in my inbox.

Option to show all attachments in conversation thread
In Outlook conversation view, it's easy to miss important attachments that were part of earlier messages in a thread—especially when the latest reply does not include the original file.
Please add a feature that allows users to see or access all previous attachments in the latest message view of a conversation. This would improve productivity and reduce the risk of lost or overlooked documents, especially in long or fast-moving email chains.
Ideally, this could be an optional toggle in settings (e.g., "Show all attachments in conversation thread") for those who want it.

Always Move Messages in This Conversation Feature
The ability to drag email threads into specific folders and set "Always Move Messages in This Conversation" is not available in the new Outlook. I use this multiple times throughout my day and is extremely essential for me and I'm sure many other users in organizing various email threads. This is the main reason I've avoided moving over to the new version. I'm worried that once the old Outlook is no longer available and we're forced to use the new outlook version exclusively that my productivity will be affected.

"Bring Back 'Not Replying to Latest Message' Warning in Outlook"
In earlier versions of Outlook, there was a helpful banner that appeared when replying to an older message in a conversation thread — it warned, "You're not replying to the latest message in this conversation." This feature made it much easier to track and respond to the most recent email, especially in long or fast-moving threads.
I’ve noticed this warning is no longer available. I kindly request that this feature be reinstated in future updates, as it greatly improves accuracy and workflow efficiency when managing complex email conversations.
