Community, If you are having issues try the new You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.20352. It works fine for me on all aspects, just a bit more energy consumption.

Great news the roadmap for the September GA, but please make sure that Rosetta is not needed by the installer or any other Teams components.

The current beta cause camera issues. The video quality is bad and blurry although this visual effect is disabled. Additionally there is a green bar bottom of the video window. I hope microsoft fixes this before the final version is released.

a GA date of Sept 22. I'm not holding my breath because even Teams Web app of Mac does not work with backgrounds enable as the video goes black. Hopefully the couple of year wait will deliver a working product.

Well that is great news. Now if only Microsoft would fix the Teams Web app to make video work when the background privacy options are added for meetings. Currently no chromium browser will work in Teams Web app with background effects applied. Basically you need to run teams with no privacy. Great for exposure of personal information. The only browser that now shows outgoing video with the background effects applied is firefox. Unfortunately it does not show incoming video. So effectively, there is no manner to get team web to work on a mac with user privacy. This applies to apple silicon as well as intel machines on 12.x.

Even the web version of teams is now broken on any type of MAC. Basically if you have the background enabled in meetings then the camera goes black and you need to change focus to some thing else to minimize the video and then maximize the window to get the video back. This occurs on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Now no real option for using teams unless you give up your privacy and do no blurring or backgrounds.

I also don't have video or audio options on 1.5.00.18807. Making meetings impossible. I know it's an internal build but hopefully it serves as a warning.
