Integrate Container Tabs Functionality in Microsoft Edge for Enhanced Privacy and Organization
Microsoft Edge has made significant strides as a browser, offering a robust set of features that cater to various user needs. However, one feature that's notably absent and highly requested by users transitioning from Firefox is the Container Tabs functionality. This feature in Firefox allows users to isolate their browsing sessions into separate containers, effectively keeping their various online activities—such as personal browsing, professional work, and online banking—distinct from each other. This not only enhances privacy by preventing tracking across containers but also aids in organization.
Bringing a similar functionality to Edge would not only match a key feature of a major competing browser but could also offer users an enhanced and more secure browsing experience. Features to consider in the implementation could include:
The ability to create multiple containers with distinct cookies, local storage, and session data.
Syncing containers across devices for a seamless experience.
Enhanced privacy controls within each container to manage permissions and tracking.
I believe adding this feature would not only fulfill a substantial user demand but also significantly contribute to Edge’s appeal as a privacy-conscious and versatile browser.
This is a known request and there are multiple posts about it in various Microsoft official forums, below are few examples:

Add function to rename tabs - at least in workspaces
It should be possible to rename tabs. This is particularly relevant in context of Workspaces so that all parties understand what a tab is about and to avoid duplication.
The matter has been discussed extensivly in: Rename tabs (custom name for each tab) on Microsoft Edge Browser - Microsoft Community Hub
